DNA Test Results: Born in the 1950s or 1960s, More Likely for Biological Father to Be a Surprise?

Teach me more about DNA test results.

Just found out in March of 2020, that my step dad was my biological dad, still in shock, my mom passed away last year she was 88.
My dad who raised me passed in 1985, my bio dad passed in 1990. So sad, trying to understand, my whole world has been shaken.
It was a disgrace in those days to be Italian/Catholic and have an affair. No one talked about it, they did not talk about those things.
It was considered a disgrace and shameful. Now I forgive my mother and have to learn who I am😢

I believe there is a lot of people out there with fathers that aren't their biological fathers and these people are old cuz they didn't have DNA test to check if that was there child back in those days
