I have the Ryzen 5600H version that I upgraded to 16GB (can go to 40). The display is underwhelming but the device is excellent for office work.

Didnt you get a fan tray that connects to the bottom of the laptop? That is very useful if you decide to use the laptop over about 8 hours . I just bought this laptop and the tray fan comes for free.

I hesitate between this or the 13.3" Zenbook Flip. The Zenbooks's hinge is supposted to more durable, however the Vivobook is slightly lighter (because of the materials used) The Vivobook's screen, front camera and some specs are also better. Which one do you recommend? (it's for a high school kid) I have a 15.6" Vivobook pro myself, so I am fine with Asus.
Correction: I am talking about both with OLED screens

Love everything except the color. Blue doesn't go well with anything (interior or clothing). Wish it were a neutral color like white, grey or black.

My S14 Flip laptop. I was working and left it for a few minutes. When I came back, I was surprised to be asked for a new PIN code and that the old one was disabled and could not be accessed (explorer.exe - System Error). The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application) I felt frustrated and spent 9 hours trying to solve the problem, but the problem was not solved, and I do not know what is the reason for this problem. By the way, it is a completely new laptop that has been in service for only 4 months, an Asus S14Flip Ryzen 5600 laptop, a Radeon card, and RAM. 8 JB and its performance was very slow when browsing websites, but I noticed that sometimes its temperature increased.

Kann man mit diesen Laptop gut mit einem Stift benutzen? Ich will ihn für die schule benutzen und muss dafür viel von hand auf dem Laptop schreiben. Bei meinem alten laptop hat der Stift immer gezittert.

My Vivobook's USB-C port failed suddenly while the power adapter was plugged into it. Suddenly, while I was browsing, a message appeared on the screen saying that power had been disconnected. Nothing was wrong with the power adapter, and I have an alternate power adapter to test with. The USB-C power yet worked with an external hard-disk. The second USB-C port yet works for charging the laptop. .... LENOVO notebooks also have this problem. It is an Intel USB-C Thunderbolt port driver issue and LENOVO has a fix for it while ASUS is totally unaware.
