I learned math before calculators(electronic) were allowed in the classroom. a lot of tables etc. and memory were/was required to get the correct answers.Your vid was just what my brain needed to jump start it and confirm i was on the right track.Also, the approximate part is still a valid consideration for the purists who have to dispute accuracy.Your approach is both pure and simple. Best regards from a practical old farmer. 2HB and paper are still better than sticks in the dirt.Just ask Euclid.
