In this video, we'll show you how to set up the RIDGID 18V Brushless 6-1/2 in. Track Saw for your first cut. Inside the box, you'll find the track saw, a 40-tooth carbide tipped blade, (2) 27.5 in. tracks, (2) connector bars, a track clamp, and assembly hardware.

For larger cuts, we offer 55 in. & 60 in. track accessories online. Combine tracks for up to 55 inches of precision cutting. Use the track wrench to loosen connector bars, slide them into corresponding slots, and secure them.

Install the blade by flipping the depth control lever, exposing the arbor. Cut off the rubber strip for accuracy. Secure the track saw with (2) track adjustment knobs.

For rip cuts, clamp the material and secure the track. Adjust the blade depth and ensure it's at full speed before entering the material.

For plunge cuts, use the cut window for visibility. Adjust blade depth as needed, and ensure the blade comes to a full stop before removing it.
