I miss many of my childhood toys. I know some companies are re-releasing versions of them, but they don't always look the same or feel the same way. Our vintage toys is what has us here today as adult collectors. I miss my vintage toys even more these days. I can now go out and purchase all the childhood toys my mom threw out. Lol. There will always be something special about our vintage toys.

I totally get what you're saying I was spreading myself thin collecting so many different brands and my wallet was taking a serious hit now only concentrate on brands that I like Mythic Legions GI Joe classified valverse and if I really like a figure I will get that figure but I'm not into collecting entire sets anymore, and just like you I started selling some of my old stuff to make room for the new I feel if I sell an action figure another action figures should replace it great video.

If I had to choose whether to keep vintage or modern I’d definitely keep the vintage. Modern stuff is fun but in no way “better” to me.

I’m selling off some pieces that just don’t speak to me (GI Joe Tiger force vehicles are a prime example). But for the most part I’m keeping my vintage stuff.

If u r rich and able to afford a big house and having a giant room to display your action figures collection, that won’t be a problem! Space is always a challenge

There is one toy that I always go back to, but only in my memory, since I don't have one '' The 6 Million Dollar Man". Other than that, I prefer the newer toys, just because they are brighter and, in some ways, cooler since I can pose them and not really complain if they get lost or break. Where do you think the best place to sell older toys is? I’ve had trouble selling on mercari. They take less cut than eBay. I don’t want to sell to local stores since I’d get nothing for it since they’d be trying to resell them.

I collect ninja turtles figures. Growing up in the 90s, there wasn't a big range of turtles figures. Now there is a great range, especially for adult collectors.

Seems every other figure reviewer has a “Why I sold my ____ collection”. First one I watched was Toy Galaxy, then J Hernandez…. is this a topic that YT suggests? Still I enjoyed watching.

The newer stuff is just more realistic, accurate and generally better engineering and use of materials. 😂❤
