Command & Conquer Evolution And History - 1995 - 2020

Command & Conquer (C&C) is a real-time strategy (RTS) video game franchise, first developed by Westwood Studios. The first game was one of the earliest of the RTS genre, itself based on Westwood Studios' influential strategy game Dune II and introducing trademarks followed in the rest of the series. This includes full-motion video cutscenes with a notable ensemble cast to progress the story, as opposed to digitally in-game rendered cutscenes. Westwood Studios was taken over by Electronic Arts in 1998 and closed down in 2003. The studio and some of its members were absorbed into EA Los Angeles, which continued development on the series

Generals will forever be my favorite. I don't know why I liked that one the most, but I love the fact that it just felt more realistic when it came to weaponry

My dad used to play this back in 2004, I’d watch it. This was the first video game I was ever exposed to. The sound effects are so nostalgic!

I grew up playing c&c. I got my dad (r.i.p) hooked. His favorite feature was the map editor and ini editing. He was also a programmer. Thanks for making a great video.

Never knew there were so many of these games. Only ever played Red Alert 2 and Generals. Loved those games so much and can't wait for a remastered version.

Tiberium Sun, oh man those where the days.

Tiberian Sun was the second RTS game I ever played. This was back in the late 90s, when I was eight years old and my father and I were just getting into PC gaming. So many happy childhood memories.


I'm really hoping that C&C will make a comeback one day.
