When I was a student I spent many weekends standing in front of supermarkets in California trying to collect signatures to support the California coastal initiative that would protect what was left of our pristine coast. The initiative won. When Reagan became governor he gutted as much of that initiative as he could . There were sites on that coast I saw as young man that were of such great beauty you could be brought to weep. Thanks to Reagans work they were opened to incult developers and now they look as if the land was colonized by aliens from the planet garbage. Thanks to the man who said “ if you’ve seen one Redwood you’ve seen them all “ you’re sons will never see what I was so privileged to witness and experience. Anyway I moved to France as an aesthetic refugee and created my own paradise that I share with others. You and I would never see eye to eye on Reagan, but I do enjoy your rants on the moron magnet and dictator wannabe Donald Trump. So every so often I tune in on your program. Free Palestine.

Interesting story! Presidents or world leaders of various types do need to handle pressure beyond what a typical person could realize. I would imagine it is like training for a marathon. President Obama’s secret service head said they fielded a lot of stress for him. They also observer what the Obamas had to handle: I would imagine it was like that for Reagan.
