Katie, thank you for sharing. I often wonder how many people have gotten colonoscopies during the last 20 years since you had your first one on live TV, and how many lives were saved. I'll bet the number is a high one. I've had 7 exams from 1997 to 2018, and the prep is definitely the worst part. But the important thing is that the test saves lives. 2:12 is the doctor talking about Sutab when Couric asks if she can take the pills next time and the doctor says, "No. They're not good. You have to take 32 of them (which is wrong, you take 24 pills split into 2 doses of 12) and the residue sticks to the inside of your colon." ? Because I did Sutab last week, and obviously my doctor had no problem with them. I'm surprised to hear a doctor diss Sutab like this. I'm also surprised they were allowed to walk out of the hospital. I was put into a wheelchair and wheeled out to the car.
