100% disagree. Prep wasn't pleasant, but not horrible. Actual procedure, I'm a week post and have crippling anxiety, can't eat and have nightmares due to becoming fully conscious during the procedure

I'm going to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy again in a month but I remember having one when I was 13 because I had ulcerative colitis in the hospital they did a colonoscopy and I remember it hurting and I really was uncomfortable even under sedation but I was groggy. It really scared me

I had both done and they actually sedated me but my diet is different and sodas are definitely out of my life 😂

There's a nut job of a doctor here that was suctioning left bile in my colon FAST and i woke up because of how rough he was doing it. I cussed him out in a letter firing him as my doctor. And found out over 31 other patients texted him bad letters also.

Yep. Get your colonoscopy!! Its not bad at all. Colon cancer is frequent and shitty. So stay on top of your gastro trunk diving, people.

My mom just got a colonoscopy and almost died from it. They ruptured her spleen and when she told them something was wrong they were shitty to her and sent her home with internal bleeding

So accurate in how I viewed it! Normally I would have to be 40 plus years to get it but because I have family history of stomach problems and experiencing prolonged stomach issues, I have to have one. But apparently everyone is saying that prep is the worst! I am glad that the dog is a stuffed animal so he doesn't feel that pain. 😳

Mine was painful only because the doctor had to manipulate my colon with her hands. But I got 3x the pain relief so it was pretty fun for an hour afterwards. Felt nothing when removing polyps though.

I had my colonoscopy yestrday .. dey didnt sedate me or gave me any pain killer . Half way i cudnt even breath. The pain was excruciating .. never in my life iam getting this done while being concious...
