My parents got married when they found out my mom was pregnant at 16 and both still managed to work their way through college with me in tow. It was honestly pretty annoying. They liked to party a lot with their friends, which got annoying quick. Having a bunch of 30-somethings getting drunk and listening to loud music when I had to be up early. My mom was a "hot mom" to all my guy friends growing up and I never heard the end of it.

My dad wasn't really interested in doing dad things until they had my sister in their mid-twenties. Found out a year ago that my dad's not my biological father. Apparently my mom slept around a lot in high school. Found my bio dad, which uncovered a huge conspiracy of lies and insanity that honestly deserves its own post. He reached out to me a few weeks later. Apparently my mom told him I "now need the truth." He said he'd been waiting for this day my whole life. I had assumed either this dude didn't know I existed or never cared, considering he'd lived in the same small town I grew up in. So I was pretty floored. Teenagers are freaking stupid.

I have a friend that is a teen mom, she thought her future over with her bf and theu chose to keep the baby. He works while she keeps the baby, of course they still spend time together but mostly as a big family, they also live with the bf's family which is pretty sweet because my friend's family didn't want to keep her under their roof after they learned about her pregnancy. She got her Bac while pregnant, she's very smart and i talked to her about the sacrifices she would have to do (my mom was a teen mom so i already knew what she was going to go through) and she accepted it. She's a good mom and her little baby is thriving and so freaking cute !!

16? My sister is 16 right now and my parents are concerned cause she is legally 18 in September next year cause she normally just sits in the sofa all day or eats, sleeps or is on the toilet. She can’t even cook that much.

My mom wasn’t a teen mom but I did have classmates who considered her “hot”, we look pretty damn alike and it was pretty early on when I realized guys would call my mom hot to indirectly say the same about me. My mum was sixteen when I was born and raised me as a single parent so there are a lot of differences but the one that stands out to me is that I got to watch my mum grow up with me and become who she is today❤

My mom had me at the age of 17 and and she says my birth was peaceful and then when I turned about five, my mom moved to Alaska then I moved to Alaska with her and then we moved from Alaska after she married mine now stepmom and now I live in Delaware she’s basically like a normal mom just younger

I'd say the only difference to other (non-immigrant) kids was that I've moved countries as a toddler (from Russia to Germany) and that my parents are younger

My mom had me at 15 and she's like my best friend we are very close and she was great growing up ❤ only thing different is she's younger then any of my classmates mothers and we get confused for twins when out in public 😂

My friend didn't have teen parent's but they were parents in their teens, they had their first child at 19 together, then had a boy then my friend, theres a 15 year age gap between my friend and her sister and like a 4 year age gap with her and her brother.
Her parents were kind of the opposite in this video, they took take of the first 2 fine but then kinda gave up by the 3rd. On her 15th birthday her parents decided to go up north to party and left my friend home all alone on her birthday. I don't talk to her anymore but what iv seen and heard from her she quit vaping and smokes about 15 cigs a day, last few times i called her she was always drunk from her parents alcohol she stole. (shes only 17 about to turn 18 in a few months)
It seems to me since they missed out on partying in their 20s they decided to wait till their kids were old enough to be able to leave them home alone to go party. But on her birthday of all days to go party?? Just sounds cruel to me.

I'd liked to say, that your mom is of a lot of fault here, and op needs to get some therapy. If their mom got married, in the states with parents consent (I guess), and she chose to get married too, and then didn't really go through with the whole being a mother thing. I don't think she should've been raw dogging everyone in highschool. Not all people deserve kids (or try to make them), but all kids do deserve to have good loving parents.
