The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) West division.

The team was founded in 1959 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt, and was a charter member of the American Football League (AFL).[10] In spring 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City,[11][12] and assumed its current name.[13][14] The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the merger in 1970, and the team is valued at over $3.7 billion.[5] Hunt's son, Clark Hunt, serves as chairman and CEO. While the elder Hunt's ownership stakes passed to his widow and children after his death in 2006, Clark is the operating head of the franchise; he represents the Chiefs at all league meetings, and has ultimate authority on personnel changes.

The Chiefs won three AFL championships, in 1962, 1966, and 1969,[15][16] and were the second AFL team (after the New York Jets) to defeat an NFL team in an AFL–NFL World Championship Game, when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. That victory on January 11, 1970, was the final game before the leagues' merger went into full effect. The Chiefs were also the second team, after the Green Bay Packers (whom they played in Super Bowl I), to appear in more than one Super Bowl (and the first AFL team to do so) as well as the first to appear in the championship game in two different decades. Despite post-season success early in the franchise's history, winning five of their first six postseason games, the team struggled to find success in the playoffs for decades, including losing ten of eleven playoff games from 1993 to 2017, which included an eight-game losing streak. Since then, the Chiefs have won eight of their last eleven playoff games, including Super Bowl LIV in 2020 over the San Francisco 49ers, which earned the franchise their first championship in fifty years.[17] In February 2021, the team made it to Super Bowl LV, but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[18] Nearly two years later, the team made it to Super Bowl LVII, where they will play the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs are two of the most talented and dynamic teams in the NFL. Both teams are known for their electrifying offenses and fierce defenses, and when they face off, the game is guaranteed to be a high-stakes battle.

Patrick Mahomes is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today for a number of reasons. Some of the reasons why he is considered great are:

Arm Talent: Mahomes has a unique arm talent that allows him to make throws that other quarterbacks simply cannot make. He has a quick release, excellent accuracy, and the ability to throw the ball with power from various arm angles.

Playmaking Ability: Mahomes has the ability to create something out of nothing, making big plays when his team needs them the most. He is known for his ability to extend plays with his mobility and improvise when things break down, often leading to game-changing moments.

Mental Toughness: Mahomes has shown remarkable mental toughness throughout his career. He is able to stay composed in pressure situations and make clutch plays in critical moments, leading his team to victory on multiple occasions.

Statistics: Mahomes' numbers speak for themselves. He has thrown for over 10,000 yards in just his first two seasons as a starter, setting numerous records along the way. He also has a remarkable touchdown-to-interception ratio, which is a testament to his efficiency as a quarterback.

I've loved the Chiefs since I was little in the 80s. I can't even tell you how incredibly thankful I am for Patrick Mahomes. It's like having Brady or Manning. Glad I lived long enough to witness this!!! 😁

I just moved to KC a year ago. Haven't watched football for over 10 years. I'm now a chief bandwagoner and hopefully will be accepted as a fan soon

Chiefs fan living in Houston. I made a switched to Chiefs in 1995 after grew up as a Oilers fan Bud Adams broke my heart and I couldn’t follow them to Titans like few of my friends. #1 reason I went with the Chiefs is I live in Kansas City that time and Chiefs was my hometown. Been going though hell with playoff curse and the dark year of Poli/Hadley and Cassel era. Glad that is over and I am enjoying every moment of it. ❤

What this team did this year is amazing. Its been a hell of a year for me and my family, and this team whether they won the SB or not provided such a much needed sliver of light. Sometimes sports really do bring us together. I know my Grandpa would be so happy right now♥

The production quality of these Franchise videos is outstanding. I would buy the DVD box set of the past five seasons of Franchise videos if I could.

This video is awesome. How doesn’t this have more views? LOVE watching this after the Chiefs won the SB! I’ve gained a new appreciation for Frank Clark. He had a bad season stat wise, but he’s a helluva leader.

It all pays off. Especially when the older players pay it forward to these. Rookies. Looking back. We had so many rookies be apart of SB 57 win. But the vets showed them how to do it. Great organization always has been abs that’s why I’ve always been a fan of the chiefs. Now as a fan it’s just paying off.

Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri...I've been a part of #ChiefsKingdom my whole life. I went through all the bad years and bad defenses and bad quarterbacks. To see us winning now is so much more to me
