Mail opening and beer opening. My favourite combination.

In addition to some interesting things I ordered months ago, I have a multimeter and some wire strippers from Kaiweets to look at.

If you want to hear more about the Kaiweets multimeter, here's Julian Illett's video

This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.

But it's how I do it.

Kaiweets are sending me a meter to look at too, I plan to hook it up to my calibrators to check accuracy etc.

I originally bought flush cutters for zipties, but I recently noticed Harbor Freight started carrying a zip tie gun that sheers the tail off flush with the end.

I like those USB cards that have the internal port.
Handy for having a boot drive, storage drive, wifi or bluetooth dongle that isn't hanging out the back of the case.

I had posted in another video of purchasing Kaiweets KM601 multimeter and HT206B clamp-on meter.
I do calibration for the company I work for and decided to run both of these pieces through a calibration check.
Both of them meet -OR- exceed standards as laid down by FLUKE for the same pieces of test equipment.
Add to that the cost is far below what Fluke would demand - Kaiweets is a very good investment if you want good equipment.
Just adding my 2 cents (USD) worth.
I've enjoyed watching your videos - Thank You

If you cut the end of the filament at an angle, they will join without leaving a bulge. There are a lot videos on Youtube showing you how.

Arrow wanted $45 to ship two small automotive grade NIC hybrid polymer electrolytic capacitors. The capacitors we're $1.06 each.

I had to buy a new SATA cable (Red) because the (Orange) one on my D: drive kept dropping the drive ?!?!
I have a Drive Bay USB hub which connects to a (4 pin ?) header on the mobo...

How old is your Computer? Do you have PCI Slots? I only know modern Computer with PCI-ex slots?

I do like the new meter, I will seriously consider buying one. I have an Ideal, mainly used for electrical purposes and HVAC work. It does work for electronics, but not as tuned for my applications. I hope you enjoy your holiday season, and thank you for the videos :)

I got one of those USB ports years ago, I find it realy reliable, the internal port has my Bluetooth dongle in it.

A stripper that does a good job with 28/30awg bodge wire, wrapping wire, esp Kynar, is a rare animal.
Sure would like to try out one of those fancy strippers that melts the insulation.

I'm finally adding more USB3 to my 4th gen motherboard, which only has 2 USB3 ports 🙂, so I got 2 off 4 port USB hubs. And yeah, they are not as cheap as USB2 even after all these years, ie, even the 12 wire USB3 extensions are triple the price.

Is it just me or is the display on the new meter more angle-sensitive than the old one?
Personally I think I'd have a hard time adapting to white- and color-on-black despite having to go with Dark Theme on my computer(my eyes are a lot worse than yours, apparently). Let us know how that works for you.
Liking the auto-strippers. I've always liked them when I used them at work but never owned any. Definitely let us know how they hold up.

Is the multi-meter auto-power OFF fixed or user defined?

Seems like you are missing an LED in that kit mate.
