Great session. IDE actions are very cool... Can't wait to get my hands on this feature.

This is now in my top 3 best videos I've seen in Devtoberfest.
Though I have one complain. I cannot believe 1, 200 developers provided feedback but none of them suggested for Eclipse to gray out code while working in customizing tenant. It's extremely inefficient to have all sessions looking editable.

Nice work on the features.

For me is not about lack of features, rather about the slowness of eclipse, how cumbersome it is to do abap in it, and how "snowflakey" it is compared to any other technology and programming language, an IDE should be fast, responsive, powerful and easy to use. Ideally, I should be able to write abap regardless of my preference for IDE.

Any plans to officially bring abap to other IDE's such as VSCode?
Standalone abap with VSCode is amazing and very powerful, also open source based, would love to see some collaboration between SAP and open source like abaplint on supporting that model.

I have been ABAP developer for long and started with CAP and typescript development few years back.. I love ABAP but the IDE is so lackluster.. Why not build it on VSCode rather than trying to fix Eclipse? Any restrictions? It will be awesome to use it for ABAP dev (rather than switching between different IDEs as most of cloud dev is on VSCode)..
