How lucky we were to live through the best of music and live to tell the tale. This takes me back to Pantiles, Bagshot and Frenchies at The Cambridge, Camberley, Ah, happy carefree days...

I have just burst into tears at the memories. This was a fantastic track for fantastic times for partying. Maybe I'm just an old fool now, but I really wish for those day back😍😎❤🙏🔥🔥🔥

what an arrangement; there is more creativity in this opening few bars than in the entire career of Coldplay

Takes me back to 1978 and the Castle disco in Richmond on Thames. This is my favourite song from that era.

An amazing song . Well ahead of it's time. Still sounds fresh as this music was made to last. Not like the shit they make these days.

This excellent track reminds me of the underground funk scene on the late 70’s, all dayers at Purley and The California Ballroom at Dunstable. Dancing for hours with folks from all over the country brought together by the love of music. No drama just great times.

1978. My friend Steve and I travelled to Torquay on the overnight train from Manchester at around 12:00 midnight for a unforgettable holiday. Having the previous pleasure of seeing live concerts of Earth Wind & Fire, Ohio Players, Detroit Spinners. I remember walking into this particular nightclub (I am sorry I don't recollect the name), this song was blasting out of the speakers and the amount of people dancing on the floor was just mesmerising. It was a Northern Soul meets Funk moment. Never forget that. Keep it soul keep it cool and enjoy that groove

Never forget hearing this for the first time. 1978. Just thought the sound was glittering and lush. Great memories of dance floors being full and smiles of just dancing.

I dated a stunningly beautiful mixed race young man.. Who was a dancer. I can see him now working out his moves in front of huge mirrors in his lounge, sweat would splash all around the room . My life was and still is
music.. This song made me cry and miss the best years of music and wonderful people...

What a time to be 'getting on down'. One of my all time favourites. Now a 61 year old 'soul boy'. Caister and all that 'stuff'.

I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since the birth of this gem, haven’t heard it since I was 13.

I was into punk and new wave back then but with the internet you can check all the songs from the charts listed in the newspapers that you never heard and this is one of them and I'm glad I've now heard this!
