How in the heck have I not come across those hangers. They should be the only style produced in the world

i like the bend over tops for height, but only nail 1 side until your joist is in, assuring a good fit after installation. Then nail the other side

These hangers are great if your joists dont very in height.

If you're using this product make sure you wear eye protection

What do you do when some of your boards are wider than the other boards then you have to adjust your hanger to keep them the same height

Only problem is the if the joists are standard lumber, they will be different heights and make the flooring uneven. I would use engineered lumber in this case.

You're attention to detail during rough in will determine how well you're finishing goes... Good.

That beam seams to have a lot of bounce.

I know a man that had one ricochet into his pupil. Missed the hole and the hanger sent it back rite under the safety glasses he has a weird fish eye now with 50% vision or lass

I always like to have a scrap piece with me so they are set just right. And it's faster than marking with a square.

Stanley Strapshot dues the same thing, and it's much more compact. Akso, I have never understood the logic of installing the hangers before the joists because the hangers need to be snuggled up to the bottom and side, and dimensional lumber is often inconsistent enough to make a difference, especially in height, especially PT.

I live to cut a small block to mimic the dimensions of the joist, leaving me with the correct gap in the hanger.

Yeah I don't know how well I would trust that numerous times KD and PT are not always the same size widthwise some will be 7 and 1/2 some will be 7 and 5/8 7 and 9/16 I've seen it many times

You nail one side on each first!!! Same side on each one!!! Then set in your board!!! They could be 2 tight 2 loose..
Fast work is junk..it will take 5 minutes to rip one bad hanger apart

What do you do if all the wood is not the same width. Normally I could adjust that by making everything flush on top and the bottom would get hidden in the ceiling. This one is a quarter inch thicker it’s gonna stick way out.
