Flea bites... They always bite at the sockline and if you have white socks on they're drawn to them. Every time!

I say fleas. If a house has them, they hang out at floor level until a cat/dog/ankle socks all warm and cozy. Bed bugs wouldn't be only where an ankle sock is.

Fleas or bed bugs I've had both and those could be fleas
Bed bugs the bites are clustered closer and not around the ankle
They will go for the back or back of neck where they won't get brushed off right away. So those are flea bites or small spider.

Chiggers. Little red bug’s you can barely see. I used to find them in my bloused boots in the army, after a field exercise. They’re very, very itchy. Worse than mosquitoes! Usually they bite around the ankles and can gather in clothing creases. Fascinating little stinkers.

I’ve never been bitten by a bed bug and have never even seen one. Hope I never do!

I’m thinking Fleas and he’s had a reaction. The only reason I’m skeptical of it being Bed bug bites are because some of the bites look scattered.

Wow that’s scary. Hope you didn’t bring them home. I worked in another province and got bites in a graph pattern. Another fellow had them too, what we had in common was wearing shoes while others wore boots. Treated by soaking gauze pads in solvent and covering for 20 min, twice a day. Cleared it up

Id assume he slept with socks on and the bugs were snuggled into the crease and munching away! When my cats brought home a flea infestation they would get in my socks like that and bite in the same spot like that. Got so bad i had to stop wearing socks indoors and had to vacuum like 5 times a day and use several different flea sprays and powders for a good 6 or 7 months before i finaly got rid of the damned fleas. Shes a full time indoor kitty now, obviously. And havnt had a problem since.

I'm thinking fleas. I had bed bugs that had already been living in my apartment when I moved in. All of my bites were on my upper body, mostly my neck and upper arms.

If that was my ankle and if thoae we fleas bites, I would be at the hospital. I am super allergic and I would be clawing at them.😢😢😢

Used to wrk at a Utility Company and would come across houses infested with fleas. One of my jobs was taking readings in vacant houses to ensure noone had turned the utilities. Was always a race to get in and out before the carpets would come alive with dormant fleas!

My husband had this. We used a mattress that I had when I got my own place and no problem. Just before we married, he started getting bites. This went on for a couple of weeks and was changing our sheets and there they were. Bed bugs. I never had them and the mattress had been used in two prior residences with no issues. I wasn’t going to fool away. We got a new bed.
