I am deeply embarrassed that I worked as a line cook through high school and my first year of college, and even working in healthcare for 4 years now I still find myself shouting "Behind!" when passing people. To me, it makes sense. They may have something fragile or expensive in their hands even if I don't.

Get off my line is such a subtle, ego inflating power trip. Its always to someone that shouldnt be on the line, theyre in the way, distracting cooks. But after many years, I can yell to the whole kitchen about MY line. Its so dumb, but satisfying.
