Well some professional tips here. This is one of the 57 algs. The yellow cross is called the OLL, and this is one of the 56 cases. This case is the most basic and will work with any case, given you know where to apply this alg, but it will take at least 3 repetitions of this alg. Want better speed, go pull up a tutorial of all the olls and learn from that. Or if not, pull up the 2 look oll tutorial in which you have something like 18 algs both oll and pll combined. I started from 2 look oll and here I am, my record is sub 15.
