The game is specifically pulled from the reboot of the show that is on Netflix! The show was a lot of fun and I like the direction they took it! There is also a choose your own adventure game on Netflix for this show as well!

Oh man, “where in time is Carmen sandiego” was my CHILDHOOD!! I learned about Roman baths and Viking days of the week and the first novel and kimonos in Japan!

I had no idea Carmen Sandiego started as an educational game! I always assumed she was in a cartoon first and then they made a game. I love that in order to keep her involved after being caught, now she's doing the ~thief for good~ thing, it's a cute way to keep the iconic character involved. And yeah, this game was spot-on for you and your channel! The spy shenanigans, the logic puzzles, the hidden object elements...classic Goobus stuff.

I remember playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego in our MS-DOS learning class when I was a kid! I barely remember anything else about it, haha. I know this is a new game, but it's already giving me nostalgia vibes. :D

I believe we have a math game featuring Carmen Sandiego, as well as a Carmen Sandiego game on a floppy disk. It was a really fun game! I remember trying to play the Carmen Sandiego game because I thought it was the math version. Haha, such good memories!

I just wanted to say thank you for playing this newer Carmen game. I was a teenager myself when I was playing my first iteration of the series, could remember a nice little marathon over Christmas with a relative's PC and an encyclopedia whenever I had to look up something for the first time (like mahi-mahi which has become a favorite fish, or even the classic tow-headed clue). Eventually I caught Carmen and had relished in some of my proudest moments as a gamer.

I've otherwise stopped in the occasional Gamestop these days to see if there are copies of the latest game for any console. Honestly if I ever took to streaming, THIS would be a high priority game for me to play.

I loved that game when I was a kid and I learned a ton...it actually helped put me ahead of other kids in my grade. It's a shame they don't have a physical version for pc.

I can hear the 90s game show theme in my head right now lol. Of course the first game I played was way back in the 80s. I can't believe she is still going 40 years later. She sure has aged well haha.

ran to go play the game myself after watching this. i just finished everything that was available — bit of a shame the campaign conclusion isn’t out yet — but i really enjoyed it! i like when the puzzles get harder.

also, a little advice if you ever continue/for anyone reading — for moments where you have the choice to ask for more information or leave an area, there’s almost always clues in the text. eg, “that person was talking to a group of us” = more witnesses vs “they were talking to me”; if they say that the person was “almost as talkative as me” = blabbermouth who gave more info vs “after that, they became tight lipped”, etc etc.
