Gephardt: New Scam Uses Your Phone Number To Trick Others

Over the past week, the KSL Investigators have received numerous tips from Utahns selling stuff online who have been hit by a new scam that uses their phone numbers to scam others.

I always give them A FAKE 6 digit code, see how angry they get after several trial and error attempts.

This just happened to me, I gave them the 6 digit code as well. What steps do I take now ?

The phone # is NOT the problem. Just to be clear. Its the 6 digit hyper link (big time red flag) or code that is the problem.

My daughter is always getting phone calls and text messages from phone numbers she doesn't know. How do you block them???
