Came to confirm that the SX70 can use remote live viewing in video mode - I almost bought the Nikon P1000 tonight but discovered in the nick of time that, inexplicably, this feature is disabled on the P1000!
Good thing it saves me 500 bucks, as well.

this is not happening on my iPhone. No icon or address pops up while i'm attempting this. What am I doing wrong?? I thought I could do this without downloading an app which after researching has terrible reviews!! Is there no other way of connecting my camera to any of my devices without that particular app??? Why is it so terrible?

These instructions do not coincide with my 4-5 year old SX70 camera. Connected the camera and iPad initially and enjoyed being able to review the photos, but 4 years later cannot get a wifi connection; the connection does not show under wifi settings screen. Help.
