Screens are 16.9 so i use 16.9, simple as that.

Do you notice that with youtube 2:1 on an iPhone the corners are slightly cut off. But using the apple tv app playing a 2:1 video the corners are perfect? I’m a bit befuddled by it. Why do you think that is?

New subscriber here. Awesome content. I have a question, I have recently uploaded a video in 2:1 however, YouTube says that I cannot add end screen content unless my ratio is 16:9. How can I make this work?

The only issues of 2:1 is that on 4:3 tablets or other squareish tablets, 2:1 looks bad on it but 16:9 supporters can't use that as an excuse as 16:9 also looks bad on it too. 18:9 does go over the camera hole on samsung galaxy s10 but ur better off doing that than having a small 16:9 display on the 2:1 phone. 18:9 will only have tiny black bars its still watchable no big deal.

im using 2:1 now 16:9 for me is overrated.
