I use my Ferret to scan structural components and scan architectural decor in buildings. I worked with him on roofs, in attics. I went up stairs with him to the crowning cornices of facades, etc. All this became possible due to its small size and its work with a smartphone. The accuracy of the scanner is quite enough for my purposes.

Absolutely even after I get my Otter I will still use my ferret pro because it is done an outstanding job

Hmm I would put my development money into the Otter/Raptor and advance these scanners further.
Or use the money and hire more developers for the software. There is still no orthogonal view or a way to close holes manually available.

Other than that I like my CR Raptor. For a V2 consider giving it a higher FOV in NIR mode please…

Cool scanner but I can’t use it unless I grab my son’s phone. I bought it because they said it worked with iPhones, well it kinda does. I had an iPhone XS Max and it wouldn’t work with that phone but would work on my son’s iPhone 14 so I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and it doesn’t work. I have always had a great experience with Creality, I have a few Creality printers, sonic pads controlling them but this ferret pro has me wondering. May have to sell it and get an Einstar.
