Unboxing my SECOND Minisforum MS-01 RAM/NVME Install

I did it!! I bought a second Minisforum MS-01 :) The first one I have has been perfect for my homelab I just had to get a second one! Possibly a third one coming as well ;)

Its awesome to see you growing your Proxmox cluster. One thing I would recommend is to install Proxmox OS on a slower, smaller, and generally cheaper NVME drive AND in the slowest NVME slot. Maybe a 512GB card instead of the high performance 2TB NVME's. You do this because you want to reserve the two faster NVME slots for later use when setting up your CEPH disk's. In my case I have one slow NVME for the Proxmox OS drive and then two 2TB Samsung 990 NVME's for all three of my nodes (12TB total for CEPH storage). This pre-planning will save you from having to reinstall the Proxmox OS later on and get the full speed of the high performance NVMEs in your CEPH cluster.

Have you upgarded your BIOS. It appears that you can't update BIOS via shell in the boot menu (like the instructions say). You need to do it via Windows? Does that mean you need do a first bare-metal install of Windows just to update the BIOS and then replace it with Proxmox once upgraded? The latest BIOS 1.26 has intel microcode.

to be clear, is your RAM is crucial CT2K48G56C46S5 and may i know cpu model on your ms01?
