Hi! I took isotretinoin (Accutane) for a while as my dermatologist suggested, three pills a day. After some initial breakouts, my skin got better and I finished the treatment. But when I stopped, my oily skin and acne returned. So, I started taking lower doses, maybe three times a week, using pills I bought online. My acne went away, and I didn't have any big side effects or super dry skin.
Now, it's been a few years like this, and I'm worried if it's okay to keep going after six months. I'm scared about how it might affect my health later on. Is it safe to use low-dose isotretinoin like this to maintain my skin? It's the only thing that's worked for me. Looking forward to your answer. Thanks!
