Here are The 7 Supersonic Passenger Aircraft Concepts That Are Under Developed. A supersonic aircraft is one that can exceed the speed of sound (Mach 1) while in flight. The second half of the twentieth century saw the development of the first practical supersonic aircraft. Although supersonic aircraft have been used for research and military purposes, only two supersonic aircraft have ever entered service for general use as airliners: the Tupolev Tu-144 (first flown on December 31, 1968) and the Concorde (first flown on March 2, 1969). The most prevalent type of supersonic aircraft is the fighter jet.

4:10 Never heard of Aeon before but I love the look of that aircraft. The paint scheme reminds me a lot of the space shuttles, and its overall shape makes it look like a cousin to Boom's Overture. :D

Out of all of these designs, I feel like I only see the Boom Supersonic Overture and the NXT-01 becoming viable. I may sound pessimistic, but in design capabilities, passenger capacity, and overall developmental status, I feel like these two are probably going to make it the farthest. Those space planes, forget about it. Only the super rich will more than likely be able to fly on them anyway.

As the future progresses things are just going to get faster and faster including weapons

I'm highly skeptical of the hypersonic ideas. Probably a bit too soon for a mach 9 passenger aircraft.

We need planes that can run not by using fossil fuels. 👍👍👍

For any of them, a ticket will cost $ 100, 000. Projects are good. What will be the company's profit? They will go bankrupt within a year. I don't think they will last long. Now, if they create a safe aircraft with a nuclear engine, the flight of which will cost 10% more than a conventional aircraft, then yes. A new era of passenger transportation will come
