Word to the wise about the Easter basket hair- open the bag outside, gather enough to glue/tape/whatever together enough of a hank for your immediate use, then reseal the bag with 13 feet of duct tape and burn your clothes before you go back inside.

I bought a few bags a few weeks ago, and opened one in the house, just to check it out. I'm still finding bits in the carpet. My wife warned me, but did I listen?

Must comment on the hair extension material. Remember years ago when us fly tiers couldn’t get saddle hackle because people were using it for hair extensions? This is a way to get back at them, let’s all buy out this flashy stuff so the supplies are depleted at the craft stores! Great topic, thanks for sharing.

I used to buy sparkle yarn by the skein at K Mart back in the 80's & 90's, even though I worked in the retail fishing industry at the time. Used to buy lots of goodies at Michael's craft stores as well. I need to find a source for lower priced hooks and threads because the last time my basement flooded the tackle box that held all of my hooks and threads got ruined and had to be thrown out. Probably over $1, 000 worth of goods in that single box!

Bought the extension kit. What you don't mention is you also get a bobbin threader, a bodkin, a comb (for us baldies these aren't lying around the house), rubber bands for yarn indicators, and a pair a small o ring grips. Interested in a deep dive of beads.

Great stuff. I've been using the hair extension stuff for years. If you use it to wrap for nymphs it can be a little slippery so a drop of super glue really helps!!

I bumped into that hair stuff a few weeks ago, havent tried it yet.

Please do more of these bro, I'm totally new and trying to save a buck. Maybe throw in some tank test vids with like "fly" material vs "non fly" material.

What else have you died with RIT? Does it affect action?

Canaadinz are seriously becoming Amoriconized, you too, "abuncha" stuff, what is that about? "Abuncha", only a few things are "abuncha", like grapes... and it is actually a bunch of, not abuncha. The funniest I have heard is abuncha trout... we all know fish are a school of fish, not abuncha fish. I know idiots are abuncha...
