0:51 This is wrong. It's not Dev30 that stops face missions. It's the number of blueprints. Get 343 Prinz Rup blueprints you won't see her face missions even if you never enhanced her dev level.

From what I understand the face missions of a ship you've completed just get replaced with face missions of ships you haven't completed yet. So you wouldn't actually get more Q missions.

My real question is how do people get ships Dev 30 so fast? I know the older PR/DR girls you can use coins, but I see many people with maxed out PR5's only 6 months after release, what am I missing? Been playing the game 3 years now lol

This is my own personal experience, but since the queue system came out I've been doing a lot of PR4 missions. It seems the game sort of soft caps you in the amount of UR prints per month(10-15 ish so 3 months or so for one UR gear). When the new month begins in the first 10 days or so i seem to get like a load of UR prints, then it drops off drastically.

It never dawned on me that getting FS5 (or D30 if no FS avail) actually removed PR/DR from the pool.

this won't work unless you maxxed out all the previous batch since the current face missions you have will just be replaced by pr1-4 I experienced this during pr4 I maxxed it out but faced missions from lower batch frequently appears

Have you noticed that the start of the month drops alot of rainbow gear prints and after you get a few in the month, they stop appearing for the rest of the month?

I don't think it works like this, just based on my own surface level experience. Research type seems to be rolled first, then face. I'd like if we could look under the hood to know for sure, because anything positive or negative on this subject is just anecdote and confirmation bias until we do. I'd suggest an experiment involving manually recording research rolls between a several accounts with varying degrees of PR development for comparison, but I don't believe the difference nor interest in the subject are great enough to be worth the tedium.

What are the best missions to pick for getting ship prints? Ive been picking the face missions non stop but my brest just hit dev 25 and my plymouth still needs like 260 prints left. Is it going so slow compared to you because i havent finished pr 2/3/4 yet or am i supposed to pick something else then face banners? (Returning player after 2 years which is why i dont have any pr ships done😅 )

A downside to this is that Im getting more face missions from outside of the season I was running. This also doesn't work when fate sim 5s come out because it will make them pop up again

As a new player of 2 months, how much gold should I be putting into research if at all? I am struggling to keep up with gold so I usually put the bare minimum resources into research.

Wait if maxing dev level eliminates the face research, wouldn't maxing everybody eliminates all face research which in turn makes Q research procs much more frequently? Pls correct me if Im wrong.
