It’s cause the Xbox series X literally runs the same system software as the Xbox one from 2013 & uses basically the same controller as well. Whereas the Xbox one was a big step up from the 360 with a new UI & controllers etc. The series X just feels like an updated faster Xbox one it doesn’t feel at all like a new generation (besides the specs ofc). Where the PS5 actually feels like you’re going to a whole new console generation like how it felt going from a 360 to one, rather than just feeling like you’re going to a faster model of Xbox one.

Yeah, in the console wars between Xbox and PlayStation, the PS5 won, but the true victor is the Switch, they’re way far ahead of the PlayStation, and using this animation of an actual console war, Nintendo would be the equivalent of dropping a nuke on the battlefield.
