You are an inspiration. The gate and pale pink roses are beautiful. Your children are blessed to have you as a Mom in your garden teaching them the earth God created has so much to give us. God Bless you all.

Your garden looks fantastic! I like that you are using the fruit trees as borders and areas where you can walk and eat. The girls are just too cute.

My mom would plant us kids our own garden to snack on all summer. Snap Peas, carrots, cherry tomatoes and cucumber. So good fresh picked and hot ❤

For the aphids you can just spray them with a hard water stream and knock them off. They usually die once they fall on the ground.
You could also use Diatomaceous Earth powder and just coat the stem.
And lastly, you could just leave them there and other insects might come and eat them, like lady bugs.

You have a huge garden area!!! The Belinda Blush Rose will be absolutely gorgeous as it grows up and over the arch trellis. So many things are in full bloom in your garden. I’m in zone 7 so my garden is just starting to bloom and not even half the size of yours. I planted flowers in mine this year, but just a few. I have harvest some cool crops, but have a while before I get cucumbers or peppers. Your daughters are beautifully precious! They are so excited to help harvest. It’s great you have all your children learning to grow and work in the garden and is a skill they can use for life. I’m looking forward to seeing your garden continue to grow. It will be so colorful when all your flowers are in full bloom. It will be a beautiful sight to see. The blessing of a bountiful harvest is always a faith filled gardeners prayer. Blessings for more to come!

I learned a tip and it works very well for me. I get tomato hornworms every year, last year I planted basil right next to my tomato plants and had not one hornworm. I guess the strong smell of the basil masks the smell of the tomato plants so the hornworms can’t smell the tomatoes and leaves them alone.I planted a random tomato plant in a different area with no basil planted next to it and had hornworms on the tomato plant. Marigolds planted next to tomatoes never worked for me but the basil sure did. You might want to consider planting some basil next to your tomato’s ? I’m not particularly fond of basil or the smell so I mostly use it as a cover crop, I cover the smell of the tomatoes. Just a thought? 🌸💚🙃

I love it!!! You guys have been busy for sure this year. I love that your daughters planted beans and potatoes together, their ahead of the game Mom 😄 WOW, a flower that you planted in November about to bloom? I bet it's going to be beautiful. You'll have to keep us posted. I can't wait to see the orchard. I bet they are going to be so productive! I love your"real life" garden it allows forgiveness for those of us who have "perfectly imperfect" gardens. How do you preserve your harvest? I heard frozen strawberries is the majority freezing? Your baby looks excited to have picked the cucumber! Sweet days for sure!

Your garden is really coming along nicely, for the bugs on your fruit tree mix dish washer liquid with water and spray them.
