I saw zone 10a and I had to click. I’m in zone 4. I love watching gardeners that grow things I can only dream of growing!

Try to trellis your pumpkins & squash to give you more ground space for other veggies.

I am so new to all of this, my son got me started. He is the type of gardener that loves the wild and unorganized chaos, and I am just the opposite. So, I absolutely love what you have done. You are my heroes and you have a new subscriber! Thanks for sharing.

For carrots, interplant them in beds with taller crops, just sprinkle seeds randomly, I think yours were too close together. The good thing about putting carrots all over is the their leaves act as a"mulch" and shade the soil to protect from evaporation

Looks like spider mites on your blueberry bush. I would just pull it out if it's not doing well so it won't spread. Beautiful garden.

definitely one of the better garden tours. THANK YOU for using a gimbal and wireless mics. It makes the video SO much easier to watch! 🙌🏻

Your carrots look fab. Congratulations. To avoid misshapen carrots in a raised bed, you have to thin as directed on the packet. My husband is reluctant to thin or prune anything (newish to gardening) but that gives the carrots best chance of forming correctly.

I live in a similar Mediterranean climate as you in Southern Australia, I planted lemon balm and it took over the garden, so if you don’t want it everywhere prune off the flower heads before they seed and pull up any wayward seedlings. Once they get their roots down into rock crevices etc., they’re nearly impossible to get out.
Your Junipers also might have a disease that causes die back rather than a hydration issue.
Great to see another garden from a climate like mine. Keep learning and sharing. 😊

I really enjoyed your video. I'm also in Zone 10...South Florida...so can benefit from your content. I haven't been successful with growing pumpkin or squash in containers, so will definitely try in the ground. Your pumpkin/cucumber patch looks amazing. Just sowed some more seeds. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden!

Love your yard. It is so unique. Glad to see such good use of space for useful plants. Like how you’ve mixed ornamental plants. Great use of drip irrigation also. No water wasted. You might need more water for the cypress trees. They will need more than smaller plants. When you trim the top of them they will get wider everywhere else and you might need to trim the sides to keep the size fitting their spot. Trimming sides promotes more growth in height. It’s a viscous cycle. At least that’s how it is with the evergreens I have.

Funny story, I dont drink beer either, went to 7-11 to get a can for the rolly pollies, I fell hit the door, I was fine, as I layed there my thought was they're gonna think I'm drunk. I went in got the can and shared my garden struggles with the cashier, crickets...I think she was thinking you sure you need that beer today.
