Coconut Oil Soap Recipe - Homemade Soap Recipes

This is one of my favorite soap recipes. Olive oil used to be my favorite but now this coconut oil soap recipe is my favorite because it's a beauty bar that leaves your skin so smooth and very moisturized.

You will need:
54 ounces of coconut oil
9.7 ounces of lye
24.25 ounces of distilled water

I just made my first homemade coconut oil soap following your simple, quick and safe instructions. I even got my note pad to write down all the fun recipes. I stopped using common brands of soap due to me itching after showering, and moved to a more natural soap. You have now changed my life when it comes to what I am using on my skin. I am big on being able to pronounce all the ingredients and knowing what exactly is in my product, so in addition to my hand whipped Shea Butter and body oils, now I have a beauty bar and homemade soap, can we say WINNING! Thank-you so much for this video Becky...I have made 4 batches of soap with this recipe and my family loves this soap. I have made lavender, rosemary, frankincense and clove. I never thought I could do something like this and you made it so very easy..

I have been making soap for over 30 years and I use rain water and it works great and just seems more natural.
