I actually liked that they gave Supergirl a more aggressive personality, as when she was first introduced in comics. The main distinction between her and Superman is that Supergrl actually is more violent and angrier than Clark. So it was kind of disappoiting that in some iterations, they just made her a female superman, or a girl with bland personality

I find it kind of funny how they show these characters to be world conquerors and people are mad about that. I’m like technically speaking that kind of always have been. That’s what General Zod was all about like a lot of them were peaceloving, but there was a bunch that was just concrete places.

All the best versions of Supergirl have her unable to view Earth and humans the same way as Superman does. While Superman accepts his Kryptonian heritage as part of his identity, he still considers Earth his home and humans as his people. Supergirl is almost always raised outside of Earth, and when she first arrives, at best, views humans as weak creatures that require the protection of her and Superman.
