thank you for this wonderful video. I miss China, your video reminds me of my walks with my wife next to our house. There's always a park next to us in China :).
I returned to photography with a fujifilm X100v which is awesome but after that I wanted to get a camera with interchangeable lens and I acquired for not too expensive an xpro1 with the 18mm and the 35mm and I've fallen in love with this camera. it produces jpegs with magnificent colors.
in France we call it the venerable and I think it lives up to its name. It may be slow, but it's an unforgettable pleasure to use.

Nice Video! Yours looking like new, wow! I love mine. I've found out, that the 23mm 1.4 is very quick on the X-Pro1 and the results are awesome. 👍🏻

Nice examples of the x-pro 1 colors. I liked the leaf shots, single leaf subjects are nice, boat guy, the three ladies came out very nice, the two guys sitting on the building ledge is interesting as is the one shot of the trees kind of foresty - that reminded me of a French boulevard shot I have seen over the years, not sure who shot it. Sometimes the zooms work nicely for people but beware. I once sat in my convertible in a store parking lot while my wife did some shopping and decided to try out my new 100-400 giant white Canon lens. So, I was shooting all kinds of stuff as I sat there: traffic lights, street lights, distant signs, just enjoying the moment and anxious to see the results on the computer. Now as I sat there shooting away, out of nowhere, some guy starts yelling at me as he is annoyed and he points to his rear end and says angrily shoot that! So, I looked at him for a brief second, and I did shoot his rear end, after which he looked more disgusted and walked away. Since I am slow, it only then occurred to me that he figured I was some kind of voyeur. So, there can be risks! However, I don't care, you can get nice street or city shots with a zoom, and besides, since everyone is further away you have a lead on them if you have tor run.😄 But as you can see, the 3 ladies came out quite nice, and you were not going to get that by "zooming with your feet" Make sure you select the best ones for a book of memories and note the date and place; save the images safely for the future. Also I liked the white cat, that and the 3 ladies and leaf shots and boat guy etc. Pick a few and keep them for memories because all of that is now completely gone the instant after you pressed the shutter, which I noticed you had one of those fancy buttons attached to. The original X pro is to this day a unique piece of kit, and so affordable too.

Good work, plus, you don't know what cold is, even though it was a tad chilly there, but at least you suffered for your art, cull the images for your memory book and get them printed and such. One cannot see digital as digital is, only via electrons on a screen or in physical form, print things in a book of memories, individually etc., and note the dates and locations etc. Make the effort even if you use a cheap printer. You would be surprised what survives and memories that can be awakened. That white cat is now ethereal.

Best wishes, good efforts, stay reasonably warm, find a public john if you need a "leak" or if you are in Paris, just use a tree on a main thoroughfare - apparently a norm there for many years.

God bless! Say a prayer for all civic and political leaders across the planet - we need them not to screw up.

When you say autofocus is too slow, are you comparing it to other competing cameras from the same era, or are you comparing it to today's cameras?

How's the autofocus? I recently saw one near me going for $500, it was very tempting but I don't know if it's gonna be worth the investment for me. I own a XT-3 and a X100V.
