DiMarzio Titan vs BKP Aftermath

A Comparison test for BKP Aftermath and DiMarzio Titan pickup.

I own both pups now and they each serve their purpose. The bkp aftermath is much more dry and unforgiving where as the titan is thickly saturated and has plenty of low-end without sounding round or "loose". I find i like the titan in my baritones and lower tuned guitars.

The Aftermath definitely has a tighter low end and had a lot more clarity/note separation.

I had both, I tried both on various guitars, basswood, mahogany bodies, I paid 200 for the bk af and 100 for the Titan, I prefer the Titan because thw aftermath had way too much ice pick treble, the Titan is almost the same but with good treble and has more of a harmonic quality better for cleans too imho..

almost the same thing to me, except that the aftermath sounds thicker and the titan sounds lighter.

Why not play some long sustaining chords / notes instead of garbage music ?
