The Ragnaroks were just mixed best. They sound much more similar to the Juggernauts than in this comparison from the Bare Knuckle homepage. It‘s actually just a slightly hotter and tighter version of the Juggernaut which suits lower tunings and more aggressive style a little better. I‘ll choose Juggernaut for 6string and Ragnarok for 7s.

The mic placement or cab impulse used is clearly different between clips which accounts for pretty much all of the difference. Check out the video of the guy testing the Bareknuckles against an alpha omega and a dimarzio titan they all sound pretty damn similar

that is why I bought the Rags!!!! However, I own a set of Jugs too and this short isn’t doing the tone of that pup justice. It’s not a bright/high output as the Rags, but they have a tighter low-end. I just wanted to throw that out there because the War Pigs sound better here and that is IMHO 100% not the case!

I have two guitars with Ragnarok pickups in, they are just killer!

Jugg, way too "muffled" (hand over mouth sound). Rag's are bright!! I have one. WarP's are right in the middle. have that one too. BUT in this demo, tough call between WarP, and Rag.. dang.. need a 7-string one.

Ragnarok has a awesome mid boost that will cut so much more in a band context. Guitars are mid frequency instruments after all!

Ragnarok is my fav. But I’m thinking the ragnarok and the war pigs on the same mix, blended should complement each other very well

So I just placed an order for a juggernaut in the neck and a ragnarok in the bridge. In theory they will work well to me, but maybe Im wrong. An expensive experiment... Im hoping for articulate rythms with that smooth neck pickup playability with the juggernaut and strong powerful leads with the ragnarok plus some nice strong palm mutings... We will see.
