BREAKING: NASA Suspends Human Lander Contract With SpaceX

In a shocking reversal of its decision, U.S. space agency NASA has suspended its contract with SpaceX for the landing system to take astronauts to and from the lunar surface. Two rival bidders for the contract, billionaire Jeff Bezos-backed Blue Origin and Dynetics, have filed protests with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) forcing NASA to issued the halt order until GAO resolves the matter.

What are the chances of a revisited Dynetics lander winning? IMHO, it is the best complement for Orion - uses same launcher and existing technology, can't tip over, modular design, and is just cute. Full Starship is just overkill, and a bit too ambitious.

Makes me dislike bezos even more. His crybaby attitude just pushed back humans attempt to land on the moon. Unfortunately for him, spacex will undoubtedly do it regardless of funding, as they have a proven program, and an income stream derived from its own company.
