I was not believing that we had a 7 run lead slipping away. Cmon really. If they were to lose the game then I am willing to bet that they know how terrible they really are. Alvarez is the future along with Baty. Pete Alonso is having a terrible time and hopefully he can rebound next year. If he even makes it to 40 dingers and 90 rbi it would be a miracle.

Although the Mets are garbage this season, I can't wait to see how much better Alvarez is going to get. The kid has so much potential, both offensively and defensively. He's already breaking rookie records left and right.
