How are they allowed General Assistance funds? So Homeless and people that really need the help don't get this?

Surely any housing offered is better than where they're coming from. Unless, they were promised something else by whoever funded their long journey....

Federal funds come from people who work across the nation.

Who are these "asylum seekers" and how did they become homeless? Are they habitual drug or alcohol abusers?

If so, why should they be enabled by the rest of us who are struggling to stay afloat ourselves?
