Update: 72 percent of Shady Shemmy's district voted to recall him in November and he is out.

McKinney Texas is no different than any other municipality in the US when injustices against Blacks are called out. I salute this young man, city councilman La’Shadion Shemwell for speaking out and not being afraid to express the concerns about racism, police brutality, and any other issues that the Black residents are facing.
And apparently what he says is true because not once did they deny or address the issues except to say that he was a troublemaker and immediately start a petition to have him remove from an office that he was voted into. His district voted him in but they’re going to use a city wide election to try to remove him, rather than address the issues.Seems a little shady to me
