It seems a criminal act to me that the best soundtracks (like this one, Queen Vlaakith's and many others) are not found in the official OST. I know that most of it is atmospheric music, but it still seems a crime to me that such beautiful pieces are not found in it.

This playing, hopping through the Shadowfell, shadow heart praying the whole time. 10/10

This was the best part of the game and this soundtrack perfectly captured the moment as Shadowheart is proclaiming her slightly misguided faith. Did anyone notice some of the similarities in the creative to Hellraiser? Also, Balthazar looks like Lord Sidious.

If you play as origin Shadowheart, Shar would whisper in your mind to kill Aylin, and if you hesitate, Aylin says: "There, I feel her again. Why does she fear truth more than I fear death?"

I love this theme so much. First time hearing it in the prison and then for the cutscene after I was just in awe.

This is why act 2 is the best. Finally meeting this Nightsong teased since act 1. The climax of Shadowheart's story and the key to the final part of act 2.

Played this part last night. Phenomenal build up. Felt like this generation's lead up to the reunion with Aerith from FF7. The music, Shadowheart trying to convince herself as she recites her oath the whole way down, the ghostly Judiciars offering conflicting solutions. So good.

I've been looking for this so long! Thank you! It's a crime that it didn't make the original soundtrack. It also felt weird, that the game scene was so short and cut abrupt like the tape just broke, so unsatisfying.

This is the most stunning moment in the entire game, and just hearing this music gets me emotional. What a gorgeous track, and a true shame it isn't on the released soundtrack.

Man i love this soundtrack actually had a feeling i was on a life or death mission descending down to the heart of the shadowfell.

I bought this game because I saw a silly little vampire you could romance and thought that would be that. I fell in love with this game when I played this scene for the first time. Never before have I felt the chills I did, playing a video game, then when I saw/heard this for the first time.

This was the first scene where I felt I was truly playing an epic moment. Slowly descending into darkness wtih this echoing in my ears. Culiminating in Balthazar's ambush, everyone tired and injured. First LaeZel went down, Shadow severely wounded. Then Wyll went down. I put up Darkness, and the next 5 turns we are constantly pulling each other up and going down again as I pelt the undead with eldritch blast and Sorrowful Lash, knocking and dragging the Death Shepherds off the edges. Everyone is up. The tide is turning. LaeZel butchers the last Shephard, Will is unstoppable with his Devil Sight, Shadow has everyone in good condition again.
Hopeful, ecstatic, I leave the Darkness for a moment to snipe the snipers. I'm at full health, I'm safe. One goes over, another injured...and Balthazar hauls his fat ass off his platform and punts my halfling butt into the abyss...

We still won, that but was the most DnD moment I've ever experienced.
