Man that was one of the best characters in that show. I hated every time I saw “Skip” die. Great actor. One of the two best memories I have with my dad was after my 15th birthday on 9/11/2001 was tuning in every week to watch band of brothers on hbo. The last show I watched with my brother Ronnie before he was killed in Iraq in 2003, the last show sitting on the couch watching with dad was one of the first episodes of supernatural about the wendigo with my dad. He died of a heart attack in January of 08. My mom never recovered from losing either of them and died in 2019 and finally is happy again. My wife used to watch both shows with me to cheer me up even though they weren’t her favorites she died in December of 2015. Now I watch my favorite character from both shows with my daughters praying that if anyone has to die next that it is me and not them. Sadly while at my grandmas funeral last Saturday I stopped by to check on my mom’s house only to learn that someone had broken into it and destroyed and stolen all of their stuff the only stuff that was left of my family. For the first time in a week and to be honest a while I laughed and cried after seeing this. Thanks for the memories.
