I own a lot of tools, I mean a LOT. Those oscillating saws are the best thing to come out in 40 years!

Smart idea to creat brackets out of the aluminum supports...thank you. I'll be installing a window using your technique

Very informative. Wasn't sure about cutting the structural ribs on the side of my trailer. The way you showed to do the install, makes perfect sense. Thanks.

I have this task to do as well, complicated by the nature of my original build. When I started to watch this I did not expect you would have done anything different. However your approach to the build and the order in which you did things was different, and very helpful in my own planning. Thank you.

I found it very useful, I've not seen another video that made a header out of plywood to support the beams your cutting thru like this. Not that others don't, I've just not seen one. I was thinking i would have to weld some cross bracing on top and bottom, and was worried about the heat peeling paint on the skin if i did. I was thinking just weld the interior face, and pop rivet some homemade L brackets in the four corners of the inside area. Very glad i watched this.

Well hell yeah, I'm doing something similar. Thanks for the good idea of supporting the window frame with the metal ribbing.

Thx! Starting my windows tomorrow and you made it seem relatively easy. I have skills but have never done the window install.

I would love to see more videos of the lifestyle you guys have chosen to pursue. It's refreshing to see what the more alternative choose to do with their escape from the rat race. Keep it up!

I love your wonderful example of yourselves being your most real selves ... inspiring me! Plus showing me exactly how to put in additional windows in my squeaky-new travelling art studio, a 13' 1965 Aristocrat cutie I've named "Art Throb."

3:34 made my stomach turn, when I was a teenager I had a coworker drop a piece of sheet metal on my hand and nearly cut my thumb off.

Nice. Very nice to have a garage door tall enough to work inside. I don't have that luxury. I am sticking with windows that fit between the wall studs, but I like how you substituted the plywood to support where the studs were removed.

Cool, that is exactly what I need for my cargo trailer
