Installing an RV WINDOW in the Cargo Trailer Camper Conversion!

Your doing a great job kid, Tape of the area you want to caulk, apply caulk and shape with your finger, then remove tape for a nice clean line. It didn't look bad for a freehand job though

Nice catch on centering on the bolt line, I don't think I would have thought of that. Now off to install my window!

80 grit sand paper works great for deburring the edge of the aluminum.

Did you add some kind of damper to the side wall vents? Have you had any issues with moisture building up from the outside air mixing with the air in your trailer?

I would have dropped the window a little bit more to offer strength at the top. You dont have much there

The window I purchased says it's made for 1 1/2" thick wall. When you added the frame it seems that yours must be a lot deeper than what mine is calling for??

How secure are the windows? I want a travel trailer so bad but worried about someone breaking in.
