This "catholic relic' was stolen during the fourth crusaders from the Christian Byzantine empire. These historians always fail to mention this

Our neighbor was a retired physicist specializing in X-ray technology. He was one of the actual top level specialists who study the shroud for many years (I have read his name in many of the Shroud books). His knowledge and belief was that the Shroud is real with the dating of the Shroud’s material making it much closer to the 1st century than the original carbon dating of medieval times(carbon dating has been now proven to have been a flawed process). The problem was that even with current technology, these top level scientists could not figure how nor could they duplicate the process of creating an image like that of the Shroud.

It is not Jesus, Jesus body was wrapped separate from his head

The biggest argument against the shroud being authentic is the place where the front and back of the head meet. The shroud shows )( when, if authentic, would be )=(. The image should show a wide strip where the top of the head separates the front from the back. The shroud shows no such separation.

Its NOT A CATHOLIC relic. It didnt become a piece of Catholic property until 1985. When left to the living Pope.
