I could listen to Tarantino talk about Hollywood until I die.

Reminds me of the first time I read a Vince Gillian screenplay. Man, those BB and BCS scripts are so beautiful that every scene is vividly painted. Nothing is left up to the imagination. A beautiful kind of unique prose, really.

It’s really cool to see him be “normal” and talk about something he loves.

That was inspiring. Now I want to read his screenplays. I’m going to check and see if they are available for the lay person.

Whenever I write scripts I write is as if I’m writing a novel. I really like Taratino’s approach when it comes to writing because it reflects my train of thought when I try to keep my screenplay as fresh and exciting as possible. Reading a script that basically just goes like “this happened, then this happened, then random dude said this” is really boring. Having a script that keeps you on the edge of your seat and allows you to envision yourself as one of the characters really not only helps you film those scenes later on but also allows the actors to better get there heads into the role. Having visceral descriptions and naturalistic dialogue makes the story all the more engaging and connected with our imagination and reality.

He's like the leading scientist in all thinks cinema hearing him speak about movies is like listening to a painter describing famous art pieces. Cant wait for his next film.

I'll never forget reading the Django Unchained screenplay and Schultz shoots one of the Speck Brothers' horses and it collapses on the Speck brother's leg. The script reads "Dickie lets out a bitch like scream" I almost died.

Been reading Hard Times. It's bloody brilliant. He's right -- you can see it in front of you. It's sharp imagery and poetic prose.

Great movie with James Coburn & Charles Bronson. It’s about street fighting during the Great Depression.

I’ve read Walter Hills other script, the Getaway and it’s similar to the way Tarantino describes Hard Times.
