Making A Good Confession

Father Larry, you are the best. In the mid 90's (I forget the date) I attended one of your 4 day sessions in Exeter NH. There was a sign in front of the church that said: YOU WILL NOT BE BORED, AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE CHANGED FOREVER. It was changed. You brought me back to the church. I had been gone for decades. I can never thank you enough.

I go to confession every few weeks and I am usually the only one waiting, yet everybody goes to communion. It makes me sad that more people don't cleanse themselves before dining with the Lord.

I found an old fashioned examination of conscience which gives very specific guidelines.
To my horror when I went through it i found I had committed more of them than not😮
