Air New Zealand 747-400 | Take Off RWY 19 | Brisbane Airport

A Air New Zealand Boeing 747 departs Brisbane International Airport (Eagle Farm) as NZ136 bound for Auckland.

It is a common misconception in the Australian spotting community that ANZ only fly their 747's to Brisbane on special occasions or substitutes. This is not true, they fly in often as a scheduled operation. ANZ only fly their 2 remaining 747's regularly from AKL to SFO and to a lesser extent SYD and BNE. :)

Filmed July 2013.

Great Video! I hear Air New Zealand plans its final 747 services to San Francisco around Next March or April. From then on Air New Zealand will fly its 777s only to San Francisco.
