Another 744 getting converted to a freighter. It did well for ANZ, but it is just sad that it will have to go. But at least there are still freighters around so we see them even if they get retired from a passenger fleet. Goodbye ZK-NBT!

love the air new Zealand 744, 400 went to LA on one back in oct 1995 the all blacks where on the same flight on the would cup tour what a beautiful bird so sad to see them go out of the air new Zealand fleet after all the work they gave we should have put one on display like qantas did for one of theres . last oct went to London on air new zealand 777 300 er no room not even as close as a 747, 400 big bird nice to know that two of them are still flying for souther air as cargo long live the 747 400 it would have been nice to have the 747/8 in the fleet.

Unfortunately ZK-NBT went to storage/the scrappers @ goodyear airport, not for a freighter conversion. ZK-NBW was the one that got converted into a freighter.

Poor 744 I wish more airlines would order the 748i but I can see why they wouldn't order it right now though..
