PSP Infinity 2.0 Install Guide! (6.61 - 6.60) (WORKING ON EVERY PSP)

Infinity 2.0 is officially out! This is how to install it on PSP GO, PSP 1000, PSP 2000, PSP 3000 & PSP E1000 (STREET) This guide works on every PSP and is super easy to follow. Make sure you do a different step with the Infinity standard/pspgo folder, depending on your PSP model.

You will have to launch the Infinity 2.0 program once again, to select a CFW which Infinity is going to auto-launch upon reboot/shutdown.

Within the Infinity 2.0 program you will now be able to press LEFT to select your custom firmware (either PRO or [L]ME). Choose the one you’ve previously installed!

After this is done, a little asterisk should appear next to the custom firmware’s name. This means the CFW is now permanent

Hi Tech James you forget to mention this for getting PRO-C CFW infinity. Re-running the application (infinity 2) after installation will allow you to select which custom firmware you want enabled. You will need to run the installer for the custom firmware before enabling it within the infinity app.Infinity supports both PRO and ME custom firmwares

FORGOT TO MENTION: If you Infinity CFW is still not permanent when powering off/on. Launch LME/PRO hack again. Then launch Infinity 2 again, scroll left, select your CFW either PRO/LME. You will see a "*" star next to it! Then press the home button and exit.

The tutorial works on PSP 3003 with 6.60 LME 1.8 to install Infinity 2.0
(i think also on other 3000 series)

- Also had no battery in PSP, instead put original power connector in
- Working Custom Themes (I tried only CTF Theme "Modern Pro" but works 100%)
- ISOs are working
- SNES works
- GBA works





Last steps to get permanent CFW:
1) Relaunch CFW (After installed Infinity and first reboot)
2) Select Infinity 2 (again)
3) Screen may turn black (do not panic)
4) Press left dpad
5) Select your CFW (PRO or LME) - an * will appear beside it
6) Press Home to exit

Thanks for sharing James, very well put together and articulated. I haven't had a PSP for years, but now that I'm stuck inside, I've ordered a PSP Go online to play some old games again. It seems a lot easier to do CFW nowadays than when I had to make a Pandora battery.

5:20 Don't worry about that one! Hey if your psp is 1000 and most 2000s cipl installer is all you need for permanent cfw.

Hey this is a great tutorial. But if you want a custom fw you need to run Infinity twice. When in the app go to the left and pick your cfw. Thanks for the tutorial :)

After doing all the process, when I start the Updater my PSP just shut downs, I have followed every step and repeated several times but it was no use, my PSP model is PSP-E1004
I dont know what went wrong please help me
